    Category:

The ridge is located in the upper river. Malaya Satka, east of the ridge of Suka, the highest altitude of 1222 m, is conditionally divided into Big and Small Uvan. The top of the Great Uvan is a gigantic ruinous quartzite massif in the form of a mound. Translated into the Bashkir language Uvan - “mountain”, “mountain with a barrow”, “bulk hill”, hence the name of the mountain.

Most of the slopes of Uvan are dotted with Kurums - stone outcrops of hard rock resistant to weathering. Here you can see absolutely stunning shapes and figures, reminding people, animals and all kinds of other objects with their appearance. The trail to the upper slopes of Bolshoi Uwan is quite easy. Several hiking trails with good cross conduct here, which even children tourists can master.
