The first ferroalloy plant in Russia, built in 1908, which is a whole complex of buildings and structures equipped with the latest technology of the time. The structure of which included: one of the oldest hydroelectric power plants in Russia, a workshop for the production of ferroalloys, as well as a unique hydraulic structure - a dam made of natural stone. Until now, the equipment of the hydroelectric power station has been preserved, thanks to which electricity was generated until 2015.
In addition, you can enjoy the amazing nature of this place, located in the village of Porogi on the banks of the Great Satka River, between the Chulkovka and Uary ranges.
Today the natural and historical complex “Porogi” is a monument of regional significance.
